In his presentation, Reto Battaglia will tell us what requirements the supervisory authority of the Canton of Berne has set for the integral consideration of wastewater treatment plants, networks and water bodies and therefore for the dynamic control of the sewer network. As a member of the VSA working group that is currently working on a guideline for the integral consideration, Reto Battaglia will also tell us about the most important directions of the VSA: “minimum standards” for the equipment of stormwater tanks and overflows, or also which key figures annual reports of wastewater treatment plants should contain in future with regard to the discharge activities in the sewer network.
