ZÜLLIG in Rheineck joins STEBATEC

We are pleased to inform you that STEBATEC Züllig AG, STEBATEC AG and Hach Lange Sàrl (Hach) have entered into an agreement for the acquisition of the Züllig business by STEBATEC Züllig AG. Under the terms of the agreement, all rights, assets and contracts relating to the Züllig business will be transferred from Hach to STEBATEC Züllig AG. Completion of the merger is planned for the end of August 2024. We can already assure you that all existing Züllig products and services will continue to be supported and offered from the Rheineck site even after the merger has been completed.

Founded in 1913 and based in Rheineck, the long-established Züllig company is a well-known brand in the Swiss water market. After almost 100 years of ownership by the Züllig family, the company was sold in 2007 to the Hach company in Germany, which initially belonged to the American Danaher Group and is now part of the Veralto Group.

STEBATEC Züllig AG is a wholly owned subsidiary of STEBATEC AG, based in Brügg near Biel. With the completion of the merger, the Züllig business will once again be in Swiss ownership

STEBATEC AG, founded in 1990, is in turn wholly owned by its employees. We are convinced that this planned merger will strengthen both companies and that we as a team will lead the new business unit into the future in the best possible way. The Züllig company has around 40 employees, all of whom we would like to welcome to STEBATEC.
