This is STEBATEC
Fully owned by around 100 employees, STEBATEC is a leading driving force in the European water and wastewater market. Founded in 1990, our history goes back to 1913, when the company Züllig, later STEBATEC Züllig AG, was established. Scheidegger Fernsteuerungen AG, which later became STEBATEC Trinkwasser AG, also has a long tradition dating back to the 1960s. STEBATEC is characterized by experience and know-how. We are a 70% software company, with additional services in the areas of engineering, product manufacture, installation and customer service. Stebatec products automate water supply systems, sewage treatment plants, sewer networks and systems for generating industrial heat. From electrical planning, IT, control and instrumentation technology to flow measurement, machines and sensors: Stebatec has proven itself as a partner for process automation, plant engineering and complete equipment. Our head office is in Switzerland; we have branches and agencies in Germany, Austria, England and the Netherlands.

Milestones ...
1913
Foundation of the company Züllig AG
Albert Züllig was the inventor of devices that enabled fully automatic, level-dependent filling of reservoirs in water supplies for the first time in 1913. In his garage, as a freelance designer, he initially began to develop pump controls, as well as the necessary protective shut-offs and remote water level indicators. He brought these models to production maturity and attracted worldwide attention. The history of the traditional company then continued independently of STEBATEC for 111 years.
1970
Foundation of the SCHEIDEGGER company
As early as the 1960s, Paul Scheidegger automated drinking water supplies on a part-time basis until he set up his own business in the garage of his own home in 1970 and founded SCHEIDEGGER Fernsteuerungen AG a few years later.
